For a strong horse heart: navalis coronal contains a balanced combination of micronutrients and bioactive substances (such as flavonoids, lectins, viscotoxins, terpenoids, phenylpropanoids and alkaloids from hawthorn, feverfew and ginseng) to reduce oxidative stress and support energy metabolism and blood circulation.
An independent clinical study by Prof Dr Heidrun Gehlen from the University of Hannover* investigated the use of navalis coronal in horses with chronic heart disease. Administration of navalis coronal (25 g/day) over a period of three months to horses with heart problems resulted in:
A significant improvement in several parameters that can be detected by an echocardiogram of the heart
An increase in performance; in 3 of 6 horses with exercise intolerance; in 4 of 19 horses that initially presented without clinical signs of cardiac disease
*Gehlen, Goltz, Rohn, Stadler (2017): Effects of a hawthorn combination preparation (coronal horse) on clinical and echocardiographic findings in horses with chronic heart disease, Pferdeheilkunde 23, 2 (March/April) 136-145.
Coronal horse has thus proven to be suitable for maintaining a healthy cardiovascular system as well as for supporting the circulatory system in particularly stressful situations and under additional strain.
Older horses or horses with weaker circulation also benefit from feeding during periods of warm weather.
Suitability
for the horse's heart
with many heart-strengthening herbs, prophylactic & in case of illness
