Medi-Clay is a cooling clay primarily used on a horse's lower legs. It contributes to improved blood circulation and has a cooling and soothing effect on heavily stressed legs and tendons. Medi-Clay can be used for horses in rehabilitation after an injury or for horses that perform strenuous physical activities. As a result of intense training or competition, a horse's legs may feel slightly swollen and/or tired the next day. The use of this product ensures that the horse's legs dry nicely and that waste products are removed.
Medi-Clay contains kaolin and bentonite, two natural clay minerals with strong absorbent properties. They help extract moisture and contribute to a purifying effect. Additionally, they are naturally rich in minerals such as iron, magnesium, calcium, sodium, and zinc.

Dosage
For routine use: After heavy physical exertion, apply a generous layer of Medi-Clay to the horse's legs and tendons to provide rapid cooling. Allow the clay to dry completely and rinse with water until all clay is removed
For intensive use: Wrap the clay in wet paper and a bandage and let it work overnight. Using the paper and bandage will result in slower cooling. Rinse with water afterwards until all the clay is removed. Repeat the process after 24 hours if desired.
