Orthosal Jod for horses is an organic micronutrient product to compensate for iodine deficiency. Iodine is an essential building block of thyroid hormones, which influence a wide range of bodily functions, from body temperature to heart activity, digestion, performance and the immune system. There is often an increased need during growth and old age, but also during pregnancy and lactation. Reduced production of thyroid hormones can result in reduced performance, listlessness and coat problems.

Dosage

Daily 2 to maximum 4 measuring spoons (corresponding to 20 - maximum 40 g) for a horse with a body weight of 600 kg.

If other trace elements are administered simultaneously in high doses, it is recommended to spread the administration of Orthosal Jod over the day (e.g. 1 measuring spoon in the morning, 1 measuring spoon in the evening).
