Product information

A strong immune system is the basis for a horse's health and performance. Especially in periods of increased stress, the body needs targeted support to effectively protect itself against pathogens. Vitamin C plays a crucial role in the immune system, supports the respiratory tract and can neutralize free radicals as an antioxidant.

Although horses can produce their own vitamin C, their own production is insufficient in certain situations. Sensitive or stressed horses in particular therefore benefit from targeted administration.

Orthosal Vitamin C is optimally developed to strengthen the horse's defenses. Highly bioavailable vitamin C supports not only the immune system, but also the respiratory tract, skin health and regeneration after stress.

Horses can be optimally supported with orthosal Vitamin C - for more resistance, well-being and vitality.

Feeding orthosal vitamin C is particularly suitable:

  • For horses with a weakened immune system or allergies.
  • For prophylaxis in sensitive horses, for example before transport or changing herd.
  • To support horses with Cushing's and an increased need for antioxidants.
  • For seasonal challenges such as coat changes or summer eczema.

Daily 2 measuring spoons (equivalent to 40 g) for a horse with a body weight of 600 kg, ideally divided into 2 portions.

When stopping, it is recommended to reduce supplementation gradually: reduce to 3/4 of the dose for 1 week, then to 1/2 dose for 1 week, 1/4 dose for 1 week and then stop.
