Gastric problems are common in horses. Primarily in sport horses, but also in recreational horses, breeding mares, and even young foals. Gastric complications arise when the stomach lining is damaged by overly acidic stomach contents, leading to gastritis or gastric ulcers.

Horses with gastric complications often experience the following symptoms: decreased appetite, reduced performance, poor coat, teeth grinding, or weight loss.

Gastro-Care+ neutralizes excess stomach acid on the one hand, and protects the stomach lining from irritation on the other. Thanks to the addition of glutamine and sodium bicarbonate, Gastro-Care+ supports the recovery of damaged mucous membranes. Matricaria recutita and magnesium have a soothing effect on the gastric and intestinal mucous membranes, alleviating unpleasant abdominal sensations. As a result, Gastro-Care+ contributes to the support and protection of the stomach lining.
